Subscriptions turn software into a running cost. For one app that can be reasonable; across a whole business or household, the payments add up and keep rising. Stop paying, and many subscription products stop opening your own files. Buying outright removes both problems: the cost is known in advance, and access does not end when a payment does.

How Aevornix licensing works
A licence is more than one question, so these are the separate parts, stated plainly.
The ownership licence
You pay once. Your licence is permanent for the major version you bought and does not expire.
Updates
Maintenance updates for that major version are included. Aevornix does not offer lifetime updates across every future version.
Major version upgrades
Future major versions are separate upgrades and are not included in your licence. You can keep using the version you have.
Security definitions
Aevornix Guard is the one exception with a time limit on part of what you buy: its licence includes 3 years of malware-definition and threat-intelligence updates, after which an optional yearly renewal continues them. The software itself keeps working.
Support, optional services and cloud services
