Why creative work suits local software
Creative files are large. Multitrack recordings, raw footage and lossless music libraries are slow to upload and expensive to store remotely, and editing them depends on fast access to local disks. Running creative software on your own machine keeps that work quick and keeps unreleased material private.
Aevornix creative applications
Aevornix AudioDJRecording, non destructive editing, a sampler of eight banks of sixteen pads, scenes, live set preparation and CLAP, VST3 and LV2 plugins, with loudness to ITU-R BS.1770.
Aevornix StudioA frame accurate timeline for cutting, colour, keying, masks, titles, mixing and delivery presets, in early access.
Aevornix ConvertBulk conversion of tracks, albums or whole libraries between AEV and nine other formats, with lossless output verified against the source.
Where each application stands today
Aevornix AudioDJ is an open beta and a complete product for recording, editing, mixing and preparing sets. It does not yet include decks, beat grids, tempo and key detection or controller mapping, so it is not a replacement for DJ deck software.
Aevornix Studio is in early access. The timeline, keying, masks, titles, mixer and delivery presets work; captions and transcription, scopes, node grading, audio processing such as EQ and compression, and compound clips are still in development. It needs FFmpeg for import and export and offers an optional download of an LGPL build.
Aevornix Convert is a preview release built around the AEV audio format, whose specification is still a draft.

Licences for creative work
Hobby and personal projects are covered by a Home licence. Client work, monetised channels and anything revenue-generating need a Professional or Business licence. Each is a one-time purchase, permanent for the major version you buy. See how licences work.
How the three applications fit together
The creative applications cover different stages of the same work. AudioDJ is where sound is recorded, edited and mixed, and where loudness is checked before release. Studio is where picture is cut, coloured, keyed, titled and delivered, with its own mixer for levels and pan on each sound track. Convert sits at the edges: preparing source audio in the format you need, and turning finished masters into the formats each destination asks for, with lossless output checked against the source rather than assumed.
Each application stands alone, so you can buy only the one your work needs, and each keeps its files on your own drives, so moving material between them is a matter of saving and opening files rather than uploading and downloading.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Aevornix creative software for paid work?
Yes, with a Professional or Business licence. Home and Student licences are for non-commercial use.
Is Aevornix Studio ready for professional editing?
It is in early access. Cutting, keying, masks, titles, mixing and delivery work today; captions, scopes, node grading and audio processing are still in development.
Does AudioDJ support my plugins?
AudioDJ hosts CLAP, VST3 and LV2 plugins, each scanned in a separate process so a plugin that crashes during a scan cannot cost you your work.
