What Studio does today
Studio imports with metadata, poster frames and waveforms, organises media in smart bins and finds missing media by fingerprint. The timeline has magnetic and track modes, trim, blade, roll, slip and slide and three point editing. It keys green and blue screen, masks, titles clips and delivers through master, web, vertical, square and audio presets with a render queue. Projects save as you work.
What Premiere Pro does that Studio does not
Premiere Pro offers AI transcription and captions with translation, full colour grading, audio enhancement and noise reduction, and Frame.io review. In Studio, captions, scopes, node grading, EQ, compression, nesting, compound clips and time remapping are all still in development. For professional finishing work, Premiere Pro does far more today.
Where each fits
- Premiere Pro fits professional editors, teams with review workflows and anyone who needs captions, grading and audio finishing now.
