About Aevornix Payroll
Aevornix Payroll calculates pay, payslips, statutory deductions, payments and journals on your own Windows computer, with no account and no cloud service. Each company is a file on your computer, and every payslip line shows the formula, rate and rule behind it.
In the current release
- Country packs for the United Kingdom, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana and Nigeria, each checked against hand-worked golden tests; figures from secondary sources are flagged on every calculation.
- UK PAYE with every tax code form, National Insurance for every category letter, student and postgraduate loans, and automatic enrolment pensions.
- A guided payroll run from inputs to period close, with approval, separation of duties, and reversal and correction runs; finalised payroll cannot be changed.
- UK Full Payment Submission and Employer Payment Summary files that pass HMRC's schemas and business rules.
- Bacs Standard 18, SEPA and CSV payment files, and password protected PDF payslips.
- A hash chained audit log, roles and permissions, and encrypted backups that restore on another computer.
- The Payroll Host shares a company with other computers on your network, with an employee portal for payslips.

- Returns are saved as files for you to submit; sending them to HMRC or other tax authorities from the application is not built.
- The French, Portuguese and Afrikaans translations have not been reviewed by native speakers.
- No screen reader pass has been done.

Is it a subscription?
No. Each licence is a one-time purchase, permanent for the major version you buy, and includes maintenance updates for that version. Future major versions are separate upgrades. See how licences work.
Do I need an Aevornix account to use Aevornix Payroll?
No. Aevornix Payroll runs on your own computer with no Aevornix account and no Aevornix server.
Does Aevornix Payroll send submissions to HMRC?
No. It prepares Full Payment Submission and Employer Payment Summary files that pass HMRC's schemas and business rules, and you submit them. Sending returns from the application is not built.
Can I see how a payslip figure was calculated?
Yes. Every payslip line shows the formula, rate and rule behind it.
