About Aev Relate

Aev Relate designs relational databases and builds the business applications that run on them. Projects are files on your own computer, with no account and no cloud service.

In the current release

  • Tables with 30 field types and one to one, one to many and many to many relationships, shown on a relationship diagram.
  • Schema changes previewed as migrations and applied in one transaction, with a backup first when the project asks.
  • A record grid with search, filters and grouping, and visual queries or read only SQL.
  • Forms, reports and dashboards, and a complete application generated from the data model.
  • Reports to PDF, Excel, CSV and HTML, and imports from CSV, Excel, JSON, XML, SQLite, fixed width text and Aev Book.
  • Users, roles, and permissions down to fields and rows, with audit, change tracking and record history.
  • Relate Host shares a project with other computers on your local network over an encrypted connection.
