Built on Windows features

Several applications rely on parts of Windows that make them more secure or more capable.

  • Aevornix Authenticate protects its vault with a key tied to your Windows account and unlocks with Windows Hello.
  • Aevornix Browser encrypts saved passwords with the Windows keychain; passkeys work through Windows Hello.
  • Aevornix Automate operates other Windows applications through Windows UI Automation.
  • Aevornix POS keeps payment provider keys with Windows data protection and prints through Windows raw printing.
  • Aevornix Guard monitors protected folders and checks each application's publisher and signature.

Other platforms

Aevornix applications do not run on macOS or Linux today. If you need software on those systems, check each vendor's own requirements; this store lists only platforms the current builds support.

Installing and updating on Windows

Most Aevornix applications are installed from the Microsoft Store, which signs each package and delivers updates, so those applications contain no separate update client. Aevornix Mail and Aevornix Convert are direct download installers. Neither installer is code signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show an unknown publisher warning on first run; Aevornix Convert publishes a SHA-256 checksum so the file can be checked before installing.

Maintenance updates for the major version you buy are included in your licence. Future major versions are offered as separate upgrades, so an update never changes what you are licensed to use without your choice.

Licences

A Windows licence from Aevornix is a one-time purchase: Home covers up to 3 personally owned devices, Student up to 2, Professional up to 3, and Business up to 5 business PCs. See how licences work.
