Why people look for a Zapier alternative
Zapier prices its plans on tasks completed each month, so busy workflows cost more. It also runs in the cloud, so it cannot touch files on your PC or drive desktop programs. Those are the two reasons most people look elsewhere.

The Aevornix option
Aevornix Automate has a visual canvas with branching, loops, retries and subflows; triggers for schedules, files, hotkeys, the clipboard and application events; file, JSON, CSV and XML steps; HTTP requests with encrypted credentials; and PowerShell, command and Python steps. A background runner keeps triggers active with the editor closed.
Limitations
Automations run only while your Windows computer is on. There is no catalogue of ready-made web app integrations; web services are called through HTTP steps you set up with that service's own API.
